Welcome to Rosedale
Rosedale is a highly desirable community in Calgary’s North West quadrant immediately to the north of downtown. West of center street and east of 10th street and south of 16th Avenue. The community features Rosedale School with a k-9 program. There is a community center, a curling center, and a number of beautiful parks and playgrounds with amazing views of the city to the south and mountains to the west. The community is best known for the stunning views from the ridge. It is a common destination for photographers who want a stunning backdrop for grad and wedding photos. The stairs down to the base of McHugh Bluff as the ridge is known is a popular spot for fitness enthusiasts whos use it as a launchpad for their outdoor fitness activities and excursions. Some of the most expensive homes in Calgary can be found along this ridge. The community is comprised of almost primarily single-family homes on larger lots. It is hard to find a home under a million dollars that are both desirable and habitable as a single-family residence. Older homes are typically purchased quickly by builders or those looking to build their dream homes. Along with Rosedale k-9, the community also features Crescent Heights Highschool which is a large 10-12 School the services the surrounding communities and also two more northern communities of Hidden Valley and Country Hills.
